About Me
I am dad to our 6 year old son who has ASD and is preverbal. My wife and I live in Herne Bay with our two older sons. We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for our son.
My Requirements
We are looking for a patient and kind PA with experience of caring for children with ASD and preverbal (preferable).
The role will include preparing simple meals, nappy changing, changing clothes when required and taking him out to activities in the local area, suitable for him.
A car with business insurance is essential.
Hours - up to 6 hours per week term time and 8 hours a week during school holidays.
Term time - mainly be at weekends and part afternoons/ evenings (to be agreed).
Holiday time - Weekdays.
We are flexible with the hours as this may not be suitable every week.
We are keen to find a PA to support us during the holidays, so if the weekends are not
suitable for you, please still do get in touch. Holiday hours currently under review for increase by KCC.
This role is funded through the KCC Direct Payment Agreement. Hourly rate : £15.00
Mileage costs, parking or other expenses incurred whilst working will be reimbursed to
you.
