About Me
I have worked with children since leaving school (over 30 years ago) and first worked as a mother’s help to gain experience. Since then I’ve worked as a full time nanny having sole charge with newborns and children up to 17 years old. My most recent job has lasted for 24 years! And I now work for the eldest of the 4 children’s son (16 months) and daughter (1 month) this has always been something i wanted to achieve.
My Experience
I first started nannying part time and then went on to working full time as a live in nanny in a large country house in Hertfordshire. Since coming to London I worked sole charge with families with 3 or more children. I’ve worked with twins both identical and non-identical, traveling families where I accompanied them or taken their children to meet up with working parents abroad. Having taken many first aid courses in my time I’m confident i can deal with small accident's that occur in the house and have dealt with broken bones and sadly meningitis. I absolutely love working with children and making sure that children are in a safe and clean environment. I can cook healthy meals and enjoy doing lots of creative arts and crafts with them along with baking and teaching them cook and tidy after themselves. Making sure they have manners and most of all fun! And making memories of their childhood as something to look back on as they grow into young adults.
