My Experience

I do not have any actual qualifications, but I am a 55 year old Mum, with 3 children aged 15, 21, and 24. I have 2 daughters and 1 son. I have gone through every stage with them from teething to potty training, to now helping with uni work, giving advice and generally always being there for them in a practical and emotional way.
I love looking after children, taking them to the park, for a picnic, swimming. Also happy obviously to make lunch/dinner. Any ironing, washing etc that may need doing.
I was a Nanny in the 90's when I was in my early 20's. I looked after 3 children. I took them to school, picked them up etc. The baby was only 5 months old when I started looking after her. I was encouraged to take the children out and give them some lovely experiences especially as both parents worked full time as a head teacher and a bank manager.

I also freelance for a property developer, looking after their porfolio of rentals. This does not effect having another job, as I choose my hours.

My Qualifications

No formal qualifications, but life experience of 24 years of being a parent, and having learnt a tremendous amount in those years, which I can use if I was offered the position with your family
