About Me
Hello! I'm Alex, 20 years old and I am currently a second year student at the RAU. I’m looking for a summer job whilst at university. After completing my degree, I’m hoping to complete a postgraduate teacher training with SEN specialism.
In my spare time, I enjoy being in the gym or outside with the dogs and horses but equally enjoy staying inside with a good book or craft on a rainy day, it’s all about balance!
I believe that building trust and respect with children is the basis of everything we do together. It makes boring things like homework easier, leaving more time for the fun stuff!
My Experience
I am experienced with children aged 2- 15, as well as working with children with a range of disabilities.
I am a qualified coach with Riding for the Disabled, and have been volunteering with the charity for over 10 years.
Other volunteering experience includes: Brownies and coaching hockey
I am an experienced babysitter for friends and family where my duties have included supervising homework, crafts, play and bedtime.
My Qualifications
11 GCSES - 5 A/6 A* grade
A*AAB at A level - Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physical Education
