About Me

Hi!
I'm over here from Sydney on a study abroad program until the summer, finishing off my Bachelors in philosophy and politics. I have been working with kids since I was 16 and have especially grown to love teaching.
I have had various tutoring work since then, focusing on music and English (specifically creative writing), working with kids from 7-18. I worked in a tutoring centre for a few years where I was managing 10 or so clients, dealing with parents and assessment schedules independently etc.
I also have been in customer-facing hospitality roles for coming on 10 years which has allowed me to develop excellent people skills.
I'm a very creative person and love how children allow me to better tap into this. I do a lot of painting and writing in my own time. I also spend a lot of time gardening, hiking and camping + love to get outdoors. I'm fun-loving but also confident in giving direction, making me punctual and responsible.
I'm ideally looking for part-time work- up to 20 hours or so a week but open to more with the right arrangement.
I'm keen on babysitting and or private tutoring- even more keen to incorporate both! I also love to cook and would be more than happy to help out on this front also.
