We are an English/American/Swedish family of absolute nerds. We love to have a laugh, and we love language, culture, crafts, nature, FOOD, you name it! :)
Our eldest is named Torsten and will turn 3 in May 2024. He's hilarious, bubbly, and curious about his surroundings. He is still non-speaking but is starting to mimic animal noises and expresses himself amazingly using non-verbal communication. He is on the waiting list to be evaluated for autism, which shows itself in his love for routines (for example, during nap time he informs us that we need to close the curtains, turn on the sound machine, stick his teddies in his bed, and then it's time to change him and put on pyjamas). He is observant and learns very quickly! He can be a bit shy and unsure at first when around new people and kids his age, but quite quickly warms up and is hilarious to be around. He's really thoughtful and loves to share his food and cuddles (sometimes to the dismay of his 5-month-old brother, but it's adorable!). He loves animals (we have cats at home but he loves all sorts), running around in nature and back gardens, reading, counting, and roaring like a lion and dinosaur!
