Hi! my name is Hannah and I am second year Primary Education student who is keen and enthusiastic who is seeking work. I'm a friendly face and love working and looking after children. I have gained the reputation of being a well-organised, reliable, responsible and hardworking person who has excellent communication developed through my education and work experiences.
My Experience
As part of my degree I have undertook multiple placements at schools and nurseries working with children of different ages and abilities.
Nursery Placement (as part of HNC Childhood Practice)
Placement in a nursery working with ages 2-5 years. I was able to plan and carry out play based activities with the children in a range of subject areas such as mathematics, literacy, and expressive arts. I was also given more opportunities with carry out outdoor learning in this placement and spent my time getting know the children and create positive relationships with them.
Teaching Placement (as part of my degree)
First year placement working with a Primary 4 class. I was given responsibility of planning and carrying out a range of lessons in different subjects while creating positive relationships with my pupils. I was also able to work with children with a range of additional support needs for example children with autism and global developmental delay.
Teaching Placement (as part of my degree)
Second year placement working with a Primary 7 class. This allowed me to gain further experience in planning lessons and differentiated activities to best meet the needs of my pupils while building positive relationships.
Teaching Placement (as part of my degree)
Currently undertaking a placement in a additional support needs school working and supporting children with a range of additional needs and ages. By working with the children I am able to understand their needs and build positive relationships with them.

My Availability
As I am currently on a school placement I am unfortunately unavailable daytime hours during the week however I am available during the evenings and weekends. After I finish my placement in May will be available during the week as well.
