Hi! I am 23 years old, based in Horsham. I currently work full time as a marketing coordinator in London, and I am looking to earn a bit of extra money to save up to go travelling.
I am a friendly, punctual and well-organised individual, with a sunny disposition and a positive attitude! I am creative and active, so I am more than happy to support the children with any activity, whether that's sitting down after dinner to get some arts and crafts done, read a book before bed, or go for a walk and jump in some puddles!
My Experience
Between the age of 12 to 18 I worked at a local riding stables, and one of my favorite roles here was working with the children. From the age of 16 I began teaching children as young as 4 how to ride horses. As I became a popular instructor, I also ran 'Pony Days' in the school holidays, where I would be in charge of up to 15 children, ages 5 to 13 for around 5 hours. There I would teach them about horse care as well as riding, but my main goal was to encourage them to be confident and brave, how to treat their friends (and horses) with respect, and most of all ensure they have lots of fun! I also ran birthday parties which were always popular, and I received lots of great feedback from the parents. This experience was a responsibility that i took very seriously, and taught me patience and respect. Furthermore, health and safety, and the child's happiness was always a priority to me.
I'm also one of the oldest of 7 cousins, and so I have had plenty of experience dealing with tantrums and sibling bickers, therefore I am confident when it comes to taking charge and diffusing a situation. Besides this, as all my little cousins are so young, I have played countless hours with barbies and dinosaurs, and have watched pretty much every disney movie there is, so you can be confident that I can keep up with your little one!
