About Me
I am a qualified, experienced primary school teacher who has worked in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Because of this, I have a depth of understanding about early literacy and maths as well as statutory assessments across the key stages of primary education. This knowledge supports me to unpick children’s gaps and build on conceptual foundations to ensure that their understanding is secure.
Every child is different, so my teaching practice is inclusive, adaptable and routed in theory. Although I have high expectations, I believe first and foremost that positive relationships and enjoyable learning experiences will provide the best chance of better outcomes. My assessment methods help me to target gaps and personalise learning opportunities.
My Experience
I am about to enter my 4th year of teaching. I have experience supporting children who have additional needs, including those with ASC, ADHD, Dyslexia, low self-esteem and complex behaviours. I also have experience working closely with children for whom English is not their first language.
I have been trained to teach reading, writing and maths through high profile schemes that are recommended by the Department for Education.

My Availability
During term time, I am available for late afternoon and evening sessions. During school holidays I can offer additional, booster sessions with greater availability.

This is inclusive of additional learning activities that can be provided, for extra practise outside of the session, as well as support for parents/guardians.
