Part Time Nanny With Special Needs Experience Job In St. Albans
About Me
We’re currently looking for a part-time Nanny (days and times flexible) for our 2.5 year old, Evelyn.
Evelyn is in receipt of direct payments from the council to pay towards a carer - if you’d consider this (with a generous direct wage top-up from us) please make this known in your message.
Evelyn is medically complex and has a very rare genetic condition, alongside cerebral palsy.
She is on oxygen and tube-fed, so you must be comfortable to be trained in this.
Evelyn is an exceptionally sweet, happy and humorous little girl. She’s non-verbal but communicates in her own way and is full of smiles and energy (and a sprinkle of 2 year old sass!).
Evelyn has an older sister (13) and a baby brother (4 months).
I am returning to my work remotely till September, so I’m looking for part-time help that’ll allow me to get my head down and attend virtual meetings. This means I’ll always be on hand and can also train you on Evelyn’s little quirks and medical needs.

We honestly could not ask for a better childminder than Tina and her brilliant team. Our little one has been with Tina since he was 9 months old and is now 2 and absolutely thriving.
From day one, he has been loved, understood, encouraged and genuinely cared for. Tina and her assistants create the perfect balance of warmth, structure and fun. The setting is calm, safe, stimulating and clearly designed with children at the heart of it.
Every day is packed with enriching, play-based learning. There are constant activities, crafts, outdoor play and regular trips out, all thoughtfully planned and age-appropriate. You can tell how much effort goes into making each day exciting and meaningful.
The biggest endorsement? Our toddler adores Tina and her team. Every morning he’s excited, shoes on, bag ready, shouting “let’s go!” at the door.
Communication is excellent. We’re always kept up to date, know what he’s been doing, how he’s feeling and what he’s learning. Tina is approachable, professional and incredibly experienced, which gives us total peace of mind.
If you’re looking for a childminder who treats your child like one of their own, provides a nurturing environment, and helps them grow in confidence, independence and joy, you honestly won’t find better than Tina and her team. We feel so lucky to have found them.
