About Me
Hi there! I'm currently a student living in Central Cambridge keen to take on a babysitting role (in Cambridge only). I value communication between parents and nannies in order to provide the best care for their children. This includes children's general routines, interests and style of parenting to ensure that children receive the same kind of supervision and care they would with their parents. I am very confident with children, as I have an enthusiastic, chatty character and value tapping into our child-like nature!
My Experience
My primary is experience is having working a Cardiff based community centre to provide daily care for SEN people of varying abilities and ages (8-24). I am used to working extended hours with children, encouraging students engage in necessary activities e.g. eating, getting reading to go outside as well as creative and engagement based activities e.g. attending sports activities, making art e.c.t. Having worked with SEN young people I am attuned to allowing children to have sustained security with carers while also feeling a sense of autonomy to make decisions about their day to day. I am able to effectively balance this with the firmness, built through mutual respect, to ensure children listen and do things they are often less inclined to partake in e.g. homework activities, going to bed on time.
I have also worked in museums for over 3 years working for both adults and children to provide education based care through the medium of history and art.
My Qualifications
I am an undergraduate student reading Sociology in Cambridge. I have Politics, History, Maths and Psychology A-levels.
My Availability
I have a lot of flexibility in hours so am able to provide care in morning afternoon and evening roles- this is something I am happy to discuss in detail beyond availability listed below. While I am available at these times, I am looking to offer care 2-5 arranged non-full days a week (and more if pre-requested for the odd week). I am unavailable for between 4-5pm on Wednesday 8th but am otherwise available throughout the week. If requested, I am happy to offer overnight care.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My overnight stay rate is between 10-18 pounds an hour depending on your child's age and sleep routine.
