My name is Charlotte (I go by Lottie) and I am a Student in my final year of University studying history. My next steps are to complete a PGCE and become a history teacher in a secondary school
I’m an enthusiastic hard-working student who enjoys learning new things. I’m well-presented and professional and a trusted team player with an open and friendly personality, who supports and encourages others with respect.
I enjoy being creative, playing the guitar, horse riding and learning about history.
My Experience
I volunteered during the weekends at a horse-riding facility assisting in lessons and helping young children with their horses which created a safe and exciting experience, as well as caring for the horses and ponies that lived at the stables.
While at secondary school, I attended a week’s experience at a local primary school, where I prepared and taught German lessons to primary school pupils, creating a passion for the language and culture.
During 6th Form I assisted a teacher in their history lessons for younger year groups and mentored specific students after school that required additional lessons.
I have recently partook in a Buddy Scheme held at my university where I aided new university students around the campus and introduced them to the local area.
My Qualifications
I have GCSEs in; History, Geography, Drama, Maths,Combined Science, English, English Literature and Food and Nutrition.
I have A-Levels in; Media, Photography and History.
I am currently working towards my BA (Hons) History.
My Availability
I am available anytime except for Thursday and Friday mornings due to university. Outside of term time I am available at all times.
