Hi I am Leah and I am 27 years old. I am married and have 3 beautiful boys, Ashton who is 6, Cody who is 18 month and Rowan who is 3 months old.
I am caring, reliable and a positive person.
I have a passion for working with children and have worked with children and young people for the past 8 years.
I have a DBS and this will be put onto the updated service.
My Experience
I have 8 years experience working with children & young adults, working within a residential care setting.
I am First Aid trained, and about to do my paediatric First Aid training.
I have nearly completed my Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social care & children & young people’s services, I am just awaiting my end point assessment.
I have experience working with children within a residential setting from the ages of 8-16. Some of the children I have worked with have had learning difficulties, disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
I also have experience baby sitting friends and family’s children aged from 1-13 years.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children and Young people services ( Awaiting End point assessment to complete)
Level 3 Diploma in Lead adult care
- Safeguarding
- First Aid trained
- Paediatric First Aid ( will be completing this course before baby sitting services start)
- Therapeutic parenting including PACE training
- Mental Health training
- Supporting children and young people who have development disorders including ADHD & autism
My Availability
I currently have availability Monday- Friday early mornings until 12:30pm and 15:30-late ( these alternate each week) ( I will be able to offer more hours from September 2024)
I am available most weekends. I able to offer some overnight availability.
