My Requirements

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and child centred individual to help our family with the care of our baby girl primarily. She is currently just over 7 months (born in September). She is a happy, smiley baby who is crawling and learning to walk. My husband and myself work from home and need someone to help look after her whilst we work. This will include playing with her, reading to her, changing her nappies (and clothes if necessary), preparing bottles and feeding her. She typically takes a nap every three hours for around 45 to 90 minutes, so we would need her to to be put down for her nap. We are of Jamaican and Nigerian descent and it is important to us that our girls learn about different cultures. Someone who is bi lingual would be great, but not essential. We are a respectful, friendly and welcoming family and we are looking for someone with similar values who we can build a solid relationship with. We have a very limited support system so we need someone who will be reliable and committed. Some light housework would be expected.
