Hey there! My name is Sian, I’m a 23-year-old New Zealander working in the UK for the next 2 years. I currently live in Sheffield, but I will be making a permanent move to Brighton in July 24.
I’m a responsible, reliable and professional nanny, but equally as importantly, I am compassionate, creative, a positive role model and, I also think I’m lots of fun!
I have a bachelor’s degree in communications and an extensive personal and professional skill set.
I have been living in the north of England for the last year, working in creative marketing and building my community on this side of the world.
But, with my move to the south coming up, I am looking for a change and want to get back to doing what I find natural and enjoyable, and that’s nannying.
- I’m happy to clean, organise and help with household chores from dishes/laundry/dog walking/appointments.
- I am a proficient cook and am happy to help prepare daily meals.
- I am a university graduate with a love for learning so I can help out with homework and school projects.
- I don’t have a UK licence, but I’m happy to walk or take public transport for school drop-offs and pick-ups.
My Experience
I have experience caring for little ones from ages 4 to 15. I have cared for multiple neurodivergent children, and also kids from tough backgrounds.
I have spent time in orphanages in the Philippines caring for children from difficult backgrounds, and also in New Zealand caring for neurodivergent kids who need extra patience and compassion.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, and 4 years experience caring for children.
My Availability
My ideal situation would be with your kids 5 days a week Mon-Fri, and having the weekends off.
I’m happy to do early mornings and depending on location can be with you anytime after 7:30 am. I’m also happy to work until 6ish in the evenings. I’m also flexible to give extra support in the evenings, as long as we maintain clear communication.
