Hello, I have recently moved to the Maidenhead area. I previously moved with my boyfriend from Cambridgeshire, where as I was working as an unqualified nursery practitioner. I was at RAF Spring Wyton for a year and absolutely loved the childcare experience. I learnt so many valuable skills and the importance of safeguarding through my journey. I am happy to provide the reference for Spring and any other job I have previously had. As I have only just moved to the area, I am looking for a part time role to earn money and thought that I could use my skills for a nanny position. I have a niece and nephew who I have looked after before and enjoyed every moment!
My Experience
At RAF Spring Wyton, my responsibilities and experience are stated below:
• Worked with up to 5 children under my responsibility, expediting their growth and mental stimulation within the nursery environment.
• Provided weekly observations to provide the child’s parents to understand the care their child is receiving, whilst also providing feedback on their development within nursery hours.
• Maintained up-to date training to ensure I can provide a safe and secure environment for the children.
• Utilised my creative side to ensure the decorations and information boards within the room were consistently
updated with new, exciting and stimulating ideas.
• Developed educational activities for children ranging from 1-4 years old.
• Established positive relationships with parents to provide peace of mind for the parents.
• Ensured the area was kept clean and tidy in accordance with our cleanliness guides and standards.
• Provided specific care for SEN children to ensure they receive the same quality experience.
My Qualifications
I have no childcare qualifications but had First Aid training last summer (3 year coverage) and experience in childcare setting.
