About Me
I am a qualified teacher, married with three children aged between 3 and 12. One of my children is on the ASD pathway, which gives me valuable personal insight alongside my professional experience. This enables me to approach my work with empathy, patience, and a strong understanding of the needs of both children and families.
I am passionate about Special Educational Needs (SEN) and strongly believe that every child deserves a good quality education, tailored to their abilities and interests. I also love working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), taking a child-centred approach that focuses on play-based, meaningful experiences to build confidence, emotional security, and a genuine love of learning.
My Experience
I have over 10 years’ experience working within SEN education, alongside 7 years providing one-to-one support in mainstream school settings. I have supported children with a wide range of needs, including those with ASD, ADHD and global delay adapting learning to ensure it is accessible, engaging, and supportive.
I currently work in a local primary school, keeping up to date with the curriculum, classroom practice, and current educational expectations.
I am excited to launch my new tutoring business after Easter, offering tailored support to both school and home-educated children from my home in L19. My aim is to help every child build confidence, learn new skills, and foster a love of discovery in a flexible, child-centred way, working closely with families to ensure that every child can access the high-quality education they deserve.
My Qualifications
BA (hons) Education Studies with Early Years
PGCE in Primary Education
My Availability
I will be available Saturday and Sunday mornings from 25th April 2026 onwards. I will also run Friday sessions for small group school readiness and homeschool children age 3-7.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
£25 per hour for private one to one tutoring sessions. £35 per 2 hour session for group sessions including school readiness and home-educated children. Group sizes no bigger than 4 children.
