About Me
Hi, I'm Jess and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder providing a safe, nurturing, home-from-home environment where children feel secure, valued and confident to explore. My practice is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children to become curious, motivated learners through play-based and meaningful experiences.
My setting is well-resourced with a wide variety of books, toys and open-ended resources that children can freely choose from. Activities can range from free play, messy play, arts and crafts, sensory exploration, baking, music, singing, stories, dance and imaginative play. We also love being in the garden, which has a variety of play equipment including water play and mud kitchen fun, and being at the allotment during summer where the children plant and care for their own vegetables. I plan the day around the children's interests and their different stages of development.
We also love to spend time in the wider community. We regularly attend playgroups and visit parks, woodlands, farms, zoos and National Trust sites, as well as meeting with other local childminders. These experiences support children’s development of communication, language skills and their understanding of the world – all while building friendships and developing confidence.
Building strong, positive relationships with parents is very important to me. I maintain clear communication, share regular updates and photos, and ensure continuity of care to best support children’s development and wellbeing.
I am also able to start offering wraparound childcare for children attending St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School.
My Experience
I am qualified as a primary school teacher and I have a PGCE in Primary Education. I have childcare experience in a variety of roles and I am also a mum to two children. I am a nurturing, reliable and dedicated childminder, with experience during my childcare career in caring for babies, toddlers, groups of young and older children and children with SEN.
Up until recently, I was working as a Nanny for a family in Leamington Spa for the past 18 months. I have also previously worked both as a live-in Nanny in Australia for two families during my 2 years there, and also in Netherlands. Following my teaching qualification, I worked for an agency where I was placed in schools, including SEN schools, nurseries, colleges, as well as being a children’s community outreach support worker working in children’s homes, respite care and emergency care support.
I am fully insured, trained in Paediatric First Aid and drive a 7-seater car with a full, clean driving licence.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
For those eligible, I am able to offering funding for children aged 9 months - 4 years, accept childcare grants as well as tax-free childcare.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Jess as our nanny and childminder. She has been caring for our twins since they were just over one year old, and from the very beginning, the bond she built with them was remarkable. Although English is not our children’s first language, she has an exceptional ability to communicate with them in a way they understand, making them feel safe, heard, and comfortable very quickly.
She engages the children in a wide range of activities that support not just play, but their overall development - emotional, social, and cognitive. From creative play, crafts, music, and dance, to outdoor activities, playgroups, zoos, and structured classes, she ensures their days are enriching, fun, and well balanced. She thoughtfully plans each day around the children’s individual needs, moods, and interests, which has helped them thrive both at home and outside.
Over the past few months, she has also taken on the role of a childminder outside our home, and the children have continued to flourish under her care. What truly sets her apart is her deep understanding of children - she intuitively knows what they need, offers immense patience and warmth, and provides consistent emotional support. Managing twins, each with different needs at different moments, is no small task, yet she does this with calmness, flexibility, and genuine care.
Our children absolutely adore her and are always excited to spend their day with her, which speaks volumes about the safe and loving environment she creates. As working parents, she has been an invaluable support to our family, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better caregiver.
She is, without question, the best caregiver we could have found for our children. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for someone who truly understands both the needs of parents and the emotional and developmental needs of children.

Wow… Jess is beyond fantastic. My family and I were traveling to Warwick from New York City to visit my husband’s family. I knew we would be needing a hand as we have live-in help at home. Jess was so professional and speedy at responding on this site. We agreed to a schedule and she came through for us. She showed up in the mornings with a beautiful smile and jumped right in. She’s a mom herself so she got it. Made breakfast, helped us with some laundry, took the kids to Hatton World, she even lent us a stroller! I wish we could have had her 24/7, but she’s got her own little ones so it wasn’t possible. Will definitely be reaching out to Jess again when we are back. Reliable, courteous, and our 3 children LOVED her! Thank you so much Jess! She made our vacation just that much more enjoyable.

Jess babysat for my 3 young children, she is delightful. My children loved her, she is very professional, clearly has years of childcare experience and is very easy to deal with. I would recommend Jess to anybody and will be using her again for any future babysitting.
