About Me
My name is Samara, and I am from Colombia! I have worked around children and Young people for nine years Volunteering whislt I have studdied and traveled. These various experiances have been so impactful to both myself and those around me, my skillsets include; adaptability through difficult experiances, flexibility working with others and weird hours, Patience with people from various backrounds.
Whilst volunteering at a youth club in my capital I was studying Economics at the National University of Colombia. After leaving University I moved to Oxford and began volunteering at an outdoor activity centre, running climbing and other adventiruos activities, after completing this placement I gained qualifications in safeguarding, child protection and various health and safety certificates.
My Experience
I have been working with children since I am 15, been in charge of big groups of kids and young people in outdoor activities. I have been working with kids with different backgrounds, ages and needs.
