About Me

Hello! I'm Nicola, an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Lecturer with a rich background in early childhood education. With previous experience as a Nanny and working in various Early Years settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and a nurturing approach to childcare. I believe in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can thrive. My approach is centered around understanding each child's unique needs and providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

My Experience

I am Currently inspiring and educating future childcare professionals as an Early Years Lecturer. I was a Nanny for over a year, caring for 5 children full time. Here I provided loving care and developmental support to children in private households. Working in a nursery provided me with exceptional knowledge and understanding about the learning and development of children, supporting their learning through a variety of play based activities.

My Qualifications

PGDE in Post-14 Education: Grade: Distinction

BSC (HONS) Child Health and Wellbeing: First Class Honours Degree

NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Educational studies: Grade: A

English (C) English Literature (C) Information & Communication Technology (Level 2) Art and Design (A*) Mathematics (C)

My Availability

I am available in the evenings from 6pm onwards. I am available all day on a Wednesday. I have availability for weekend work too.
