My Experience

I have experience working in nurseries and preschools, caring for children at different stages of their early years development. This has given me a good understanding of children's individual needs, routines, development and the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

I’m also a mum to two children, being a parent has given me first-hand experience of the different stages of childhood, from the early years through to starting school and becoming more independent.

I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured that their child is happy, safe and well cared for. I take a calm, patient and caring approach and enjoy getting to know each child as an individual, supporting their interests, confidence and development through play and everyday experiences.

My experience in both professional childcare settings and as a parent has helped me develop a caring and practical approach to childcare, while understanding how important good communication with parents is.

My Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education

Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

Ofsted Registered Childminder

Paediatric First Aid Certificate – up to date

Safeguarding Children Training – up to date.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm.

I offer full-day childcare for younger children, as well as school pick-up and wraparound care, depending on the child’s age and individual requirements.

As part of my day, I am on the school run from approximately 8:25am to 9:00am and again from 3:00pm to 3:30pm. I provide school pick-up for children attending Shirley Warren Nursery and Primary School.

I do not provide childcare on bank holidays, during the Christmas holiday break or for two weeks during the summer holidays. These planned breaks allow me to have time with my own family while ensuring I can provide the best care for the children throughout the rest of the year.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

My childcare rate is £6 per hour for all care.

Included in my hourly rate:
• Snacks
• Water and milk
• Age-appropriate activities and play experiences
• School pick-up & drop off where applicable

Parents are asked to provide their child’s lunch, along with an ice pack where required to help keep food at a safe temperature.

For babies under 1 year, parents are asked to provide all food, including foods required during the weaning process, as well as formula milk or expressed breast milk where required. This allows me to follow your baby’s individual feeding routine and ensure they receive foods and milk that you have chosen for them.

Late collections:
Late collection is charged at £3 per 15-minute block.

I aim to keep my fees straightforward and transparent, with no hidden extras.

I accept 15 and 30 hours government-funded childcare for eligible children
