About Me?
I am a qualified Montessori practitioner with AMI Montessori training and a diploma-level background in Montessori education. I am fluent in English and also offer bilingual childcare in English and Mandarin, depending on each child’s needs.
I provide a warm, calm, and structured home-based childcare environment where children can grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity through hands-on learning and daily life experiences.
Animals are part of our everyday life. I have two cats at home.
Daily Routine & Learning:
Children follow a consistent daily rhythm that supports security and independence. The morning usually includes Montessori work cycles, practical life activities, and snack preparation, helping children develop focus, coordination, and early learning skills in a natural way.
Each day is carefully structured to support the needs of early years children, especially those aged 0–3, while also providing support for older children who benefit from a more individualised learning approach.
Enrichment Activities
In the afternoons, I offer a rich variety of themed activities to support children’s holistic development, including:
* Chinese dance and movement
* Yoga and mindfulness
* Arts and crafts
* Music and storytelling
* Cooking and practical life skills
* Creative and sensory play
These activities help children build creativity, physical coordination, social skills, and cultural awareness in a fun and engaging way.
My Approach:
My approach is child-centred and Montessori-inspired. I focus on helping each child develop independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning at their own pace in a nurturing home environment.
My Experience
I have over five years of experience working in Montessori environments in China, where I supported children aged 1.5–6 in their development using the AMI approach. My work focused on fostering independence, concentration, and a love of learning through hands-on activities and a calm, respectful atmosphere.
Since moving to the UK, I have been working as a Teaching Assistant from agnecies in both nursery and primary school settings, gaining experience in supporting children across a range of ages and needs.
As a qualified Montessori teacher, I carefully observe each child, including those with additional needs. In my prepared environment, I often see children stay deeply focused and engaged. I transform abstract or difficult maths concepts into hands-on, concrete activities that children can physically manipulate and explore.
Through this approach, children have shown remarkable progress in both maths and geography. Learning becomes meaningful, enjoyable and accessible, and they build confidence as they discover concepts through experience rather than memorization.
Alongside this, I also teach Mandarin to children and adults, both online and face-to-face. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s level, with a focus on real-life communication.

AMI 2.5–6 diploma,
Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (EYE).
