About Me
I previously worked in an outstanding social enterprise nursery in central London as a deputy manager for 9 years. The setting that I work for cares and nurtures children from Birth - 5years. I worked across 3 rooms which covers all ages while leading other practitioners within the nursery. I have been particularly lucky in gaining experience across the whole Early Years Foundation Stage and developed a true understanding of the EYFS through both training and personal study which helps me in creating fun, stimulating activities according to your child's interests and development.
I have had lots of experience with especially young babies starting from birth. Alongside running the nursery I worked in the under 2s room having 12 children under 1 years in my care at the nursery plus 3 12 months+ at the same time with help from 4 members of the team who I led. I am able to prepare bottles, cook healthy meals and have a natural caring nature which babies love. I also spent 3 years leading the 2-3 years room where I focused on boundaries, speech and language, following routines.
I truly love being around children and enjoy caring, nurturing and stimulating them. I am a kind, trustworthy and professional person who is extremely dedicated to my job. I have built wonderful relationships with the children that I work with and for some of these children I am the most reliable person in their lives. I am dedicated to improving outcomes for all children. Children have a natural instinct and naturally feel happy and secure when around me. I always ensure the child’s voice is heard and we base our activities in the day around their interests. I love taking children to outdoor activities and days out. A child is the most precious thing in a parents life and I would always want them to feel happy, stimulated, cared for and secure at all times.
My Experience

I have worked with children with special educational needs. Created targeted plans to help them achieve their goals. Have successfully got them their educational health care plans.
I have been very lucky and had the chance to take part various courses such as safeguarding, a unique child, from neurons to nursery, brain development for under 2's, speech and language, first aid, food and hygiene, Makaton, level 2 in autism , level 3 in leadership and management and senco training.
I have a in date DBS, first aid qualification, and have taken courses in Autism, physical development, baby yoga, makaton, leadership and management, science into neurons and much more.
I have my own car insured for carrying children as part of my job. Clean driving licence.

I have had Rosie as a Nanny for my 5 year old and I cannot fault her in the way she carried out her responsibilities She is punctual and reliable and thoughtful. My son absolutely loved being with Rosie and she was able to connect with him very comfortably right from day 1. She has a good attitude and can find her way to solve the challenges that come along when starting with a new family. I wish I could continue working with her. However if ever my circumstances change I would hire her any day .
