Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper – Join a Fun, Energetic Family in a Beautiful Home (Long-Term Position not short term)

Location: North West England – A stunning area with great amenities, green spaces, and excellent transport links.

What We’re Offering:

Working Schedule:
• Core hours: 45 hours a week - days to vary each week (sometimes 50 hours when away or on occasion)
• At least 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday per month included in your weekly schedule – not additional
• Monthly schedule provided well in advance for easy planning

Our Family:

We’re a vibrant, welcoming household with two young children aged 2 and 3 who love to play, laugh, and learn. Our home is busy, joyful, and full of life – we’re looking for someone who brings warmth, energy, and a great work ethic. You’ll work alongside a supportive Mum and a part-time local nanny – teamwork and communication are key.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Childcare (2–3 days per week):
• Sole and shared care of two lovely little ones
• Daily fun and educational activities – crafts, baking, messy play, park trips, reading and more
• Help with nursery drop-offs and local classes
• Meal prep, snacks, and routines
• Support Mum with the bedtime and morning routines
• Occasional proxy parenting while Mum is at the gym or out

Housekeeping (3+ days per week):
• Full housekeeping of a clean, modern 3–4 bed home – we love things tidy and well-organised
• Laundry, ironing, sorting wardrobes, changing beds
• Kitchen, bathroom, and playroom deep cleans
• Organising drawers, cupboards, toy stations
• Weekly grocery ordering and tidying
• Cooking family evening meals (we love a good spaghetti bolognese, hot pot or casserole!)

Ideal Candidate:
• At least 5 years’ experience in nannying/housekeeping
• Confident caring for young children and managing a busy home
• Genuinely passionate about helping a family run smoothly
• Can cook nutritious, child-friendly meals
• Flexible, proactive, organised and positive
• Holds an Enhanced DBS, First Aid Certification, and clean UK driving licence


Extras:
• Must be happy to travel (3–4 trips a year – UK & abroad)
• Comfortable with pets (we have one friendly dog!)
• Looking for a long-term, stable, and meaningful role


Salary: £35,000 per year
