About Me

I am a hard working 27 year old who is passionate about children and their care and development. I am mature but still young and fit enough to meet the daily needs of a child/children who have energy in abundance.

I am able to support your child to get ready for their day, do daily activities with them which will encourage their development. Sort lunch and snacks for your child and take your child to and from school/nursery. I am willing to do the basic cleaning including maintaining a clean, safe environment for your child. Hopefully I can make yours and your child’s day a little bit brighter.

I enjoy reading in my spare time also spending time with my family, especially my 4 year old niece and 3 month old nephew. Baking is a new hobby of mine.

After spending some time out of childcare, working with adults with learning disabilities, I’d like to get back to doing what I’m most passionate about.

Any questions feel free to message me!

My Experience

I have years of experience babysitting, caring for younger siblings and family members. Talking care of friend’s children over night. I have worked in a nursery setting, a day service and a home environment.

I have previously nannied for a family caring for their three young children, although this was years ago I still have fond memories of my time with them.

Prior to this I was studying childcare along side a full time course of health and social care which I passed both with Distinction*. During this time I did a placement in a nursery doing observations, planning learning activities and maintaining their wellbeing. Alongside this placement I worked at a day centre for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities.

Upon returning to my home town I went to working with adults with learning disabilities after spending sometime out of my home town, then returning and getting a job within the NHS at an inpatient unit supporting those with mental health problems.

After I took a role as a support worker within CAHMS although my time there was short due to unforeseen family circumstances.

Currently working in hospitality till I find my dream job.

Although I do not have a up-to-date DBS I am willing to get one upon request (Can show evidence of DBS from previous employers).
