Part-Time Nanny Needed – Faversham, Kent
3 Days a Week (Wednesday–Friday) | 9am – 6pm | Competitive Salary

A friendly and welcoming family based in the beautiful countryside near Faversham, Kent, is looking for a kind, proactive, and experienced nanny to care for their 18-month-old daughter. This is a temporary position with strong potential to become long-term for the right person.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that encourages the little one’s development through play, creativity, and exploration. The family is looking for someone confident in caring for toddlers and happy to support with family life. As the home is in a peaceful, rural setting, this role would suit a nature-loving nanny who enjoys being outdoors. A daily one-hour walk with the family’s friendly Labrador is also part of the routine with their little girl.


Schedule:
3 days per week – Wednesday to Friday
9am – 6pm
Occasional evening babysitting by arrangement



Key Responsibilities:
- Providing warm, attentive care throughout the day
- Planning age-appropriate, stimulating activities (e.g. arts and crafts, music, story time, baby theatre/disco, visits to the park, library, art galleries, soft play, swimming)
- Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks
- Batch cooking to support family mealtimes
- Light household tasks: tidying, laundry, and general cleaning
- Walking the family’s Labrador for an hour a day.


Essentials:
- At least 5 years of experience in a childcare-related role
- Up-to-date, enhanced DBS check
- Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Confident driver with own car
- Comfortable with dogs
- Enjoys nature and feels at home in a countryside environment
- Non-smoker

Salary:

Negotiable and competitive, depending on experience.
