About Me
My husband Will and I are looking for a fun and energetic nanny, who can help look after our two boys - Felix (almost 8) and Axel (6,5) - when they are not in school. We also have a friendly cockapoo called Darcy (3).
The boys go to a local school. We both have professional jobs in the City, although work from home some days during the week (me generally 2-3 days per week and Will 1 day per week).
We have a 4 bedroom house in the heart of Barnes village (directly on Barnes Green), including a nice spare room with ensuite at the top of the house (on its own floor). We also have a good size garden.
My Requirements
On school weekdays we would expect our nanny to work for 1 hour in the morning (getting the boys ready for school and taking them to the school bus 5 mins walk from the house) and then for 5 hours in the afternoon (picking the boys up from school by car (~10-15 mins' drive), taking them to clubs, doing homework with them, preparing dinner and getting them ready for bed). Our nanny would generally have free time between 8am and 3pm. During school holidays, when we are not away on family holidays, we would expect our nanny to work full time during the weekdays.
At weekends we like spending family time together with our children, so typically we would only require the occasional babysitting then.
We expect our nanny to be involved with all matters related to the children (including homework) and to help with general tidying up in the house, washing of the children's clothes and bedding, food shopping and cooking for the children. (We do however have a cleaner who comes once per week for 6 hours and also does ironing.)
