My Experience

My journey in childcare began at age 19 when I worked as an Au Pair in Spain, caring for three children aged 7 to 13. I supported their daily routines, prepared meals, and helped them learn English through fun and engaging activities. This experience sparked my love for working with children and supporting families.

Following this, I began working part time for a family with two young children aged 2 and 4. My responsibilities included supporting their after school routines through to bedtime, preparing meals for the week, managing light housework, helping with weekly shopping and meal planning, and taking them to clubs and activities. I also cared for them full time during school holidays, creating a fun and structured environment tailored to their needs.

During this time, I regularly supported a family friend when their nanny was unwell, caring for three children aged between 18 months and 5 years. I took them to playgroups, encouraged social interaction, and ensured their meals and routines were well managed throughout the day.

Most recently, I have been helping a family with 4 month old twins during the evenings. I assist with the night time routine including night feeds, changes, and settling them to sleep, making sure they are safe, calm, and well cared for throughout the night.

These varied experiences have given me the confidence and adaptability to care for children across different ages and needs. I am now excited to find a new family to support with warmth, structure, and reliability.

My Qualifications

I hold paediatric first aid training, a Level 2 qualification in Childcare, and a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in both the practical and emotional aspects of caring for children. In addition to my childcare credentials, I also have a degree in Management and Marketing, which has helped me develop excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, all of which I bring into my nanny role to create a smooth and supportive experience for both children and parents.

My Availability

I am available on a full-time basis, however, can look to split my time between families for part time hours

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

Hello! I am Elena, an OFSTED registered Nanny, looking to join a family based in Leicestershire! I charge £15p/h for weekdays and £19p/h for night nanny shifts. Tax-free childcare schemes can be used, for savings. However, I am open to negotiations on fees.
