About Me
A warm, reliable, and professional private tutor. I follow the British national curriculum and specialise in early literacy, phonics, handwriting, basic mathematics, and overall school readiness.
I take a gentle and encouraging approach, helping young learners build confidence while developing essential skills at their own pace. Lessons are tailored to suit each child’s individual needs, using engaging, age-appropriate activities that make learning both fun and effective.
I hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service check and prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for every child. Whether your child needs help catching up, extra support outside the classroom, or a boost in confidence, I am here to help them thrive in their early years of education.
My Experience
I have experience providing private tutoring for children from Reception to Year 4, supporting their early learning in literacy, phonics, and numeracy, as well as building their confidence and study habits. Alongside this, I have also worked in a nursery setting, where I supported young children’s development through structured play, storytelling, and early learning activities. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how children learn best in their early years and how to create an engaging, supportive environment that encourages both curiosity and confidence.
My Qualifications
I hold a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. My academic background has strengthened my skills in numeracy, organisation, and clear communication, which I now bring into my tutoring. I also have experience working in a nursery, where I developed a real understanding of how young children learn best.
This combination of academic knowledge and hands-on childcare experience helps me create supportive, structured lessons that build children’s confidence in maths, reading, English, and early learning skills.
