About Me
A warm, reliable, and professional private tutor with a focus on children in Reception through to Year Two. I follow the British national curriculum and specialise in early literacy, phonics, handwriting, basic mathematics, and overall school readiness.
I take a gentle and encouraging approach, helping young learners build confidence while developing essential skills at their own pace. Lessons are tailored to suit each child’s individual needs, using engaging, age-appropriate activities that make learning both fun and effective.
I hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service check and prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for every child. Whether your child needs help catching up, extra support outside the classroom, or a boost in confidence, I am here to help them thrive in their early years of education.
My Experience
I have previous experience working in a nursery setting, where I supported young children with early learning and development through structured play, storytelling, phonics, and basic numeracy activities. This role gave me valuable insight into how children learn best in their early years and how to create a calm, engaging environment that supports both confidence and curiosity.
My Qualifications
I hold a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Technology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Although my academic background is not in education, it has provided me with a strong foundation in numeracy, structure, and clear communication, all of which I bring to my tutoring sessions with young learners.
