About Me

Hello,
We have recently made the decision that we would like to homeschool our 6-year-old son and are in the process of making the necessary arrangements.

Although he had a positive start in reception, Year 1 and the beginning of Year 2, he has increasingly struggled with attending school recently for a variety of reasons, which we would be happy to discuss in more detail. Although he has been attending it is an emotional battle to get him there which we feel is affecting him.

After much consideration, we believe that homeschooling will provide a more supportive and settled environment for him. As part of this transition, we are looking to establish regular tutoring sessions in English and Maths. Our aim is to ensure he stays on track with the national curriculum and continues to make steady academic progress.
We would prefer sessions to be at our home and not online.

Although this has been a carefully thought-out decision, and we now feel confident that this is the best path forward for his wellbeing and development we are still a little apprehensive about how this will work.
