About Me
I graduated from University almost two years ago and since then I have been working with children in various settings. I have been an Early Years Practitioner working with ages 0-4 years and for the last year I have been working for an inclusion charity in Oxford supporting children, teenagers and adults with various additional needs including Autism and Down's Syndrome. I love watching and helping children reach their full potential and goals and I am looking into furthering my education by doing a PGCE in the future. I am a chatty carer who loves doing creative activities such as arts and crafts and spending time outdoors.
I have recently moved to Hastings and am looking for childcare work in and around the area.
My Experience
I have experience working with children aged 0-4 as an Early Years Practitioner which involves making fun and engaging activities that are in line with EYFS framework, doing personal care, and preparing children for school. I also received training to work with babies including safe sleep training and full paediatric first aid. I have experience working with older children and adults through my youth work in an inclusion charity. My responsibilities here were to lead and support service users of varying abilities and needs through activities. I have worked both one-to-one and with larger groups. Many of our service users are on the autism spectrum and/or have limited verbal communication so I have lots of experience adapting my communication style to the individual I am working with.

2.1 BA in English Literature
Three A levels
10 GCSEs including Maths and English
Full paediatric first aid (expires 2027)
