About Me

Hi! I’m Sophie, I’m 21 years old and have recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies.

I’ve always loved working with children and have experience caring for kids of various ages. While studying for my A-Levels at Stamford School, I volunteered to help run after-school cricket sessions for Year 5–6 girls — something I thoroughly enjoyed, especially watching the children get stuck in and grow in confidence. I also have previous babysitting experience and love bringing creativity and fun into the time I spend with children, whether that’s through games, storytelling, crafts, or imaginative play.

Now that I’ve moved back home after university and am taking a year out, I have lots of flexibility and full availability. I come from a close-knit family with lots of younger cousins, so I’m very used to being around children and genuinely enjoy spending time with them.

A little about me: I love reading and getting stuck into a good book, I adore animals (I have a dog and two cats at home!), and I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I also have a big love for music and good food, and I bring a warm, positive energy to everything I do.
