About Me

Hello! I am a supportive person who enjoys teaching a broad variety of subjects. I enjoy making learning accessible to pupils to help them with things at school. I believe in making learning personable to students, showing them that what they already know and their experiences are important for the learning process, connecting their subjects with what they already know and real-life situations. I also believe in structured learning and having clear goals, making sure students engage with evidence to test their ideas or make informed judgements. I know school can feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking things down into clear, relatable steps and using examples and personal stories to bring information to life. Whether it's understanding a tricky book or organizing essay ideas, I'll work with you at your pace, with patience and encouragement, making learning enjoyable rather than frightening, while providing a safe space to explore and exchange ideas without being rushed. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing golf, chess, table tennis, reading, and watching movies, and I always try to connect lessons to real life.

My Experience

With 3+ years tutoring humanities, I’ve helped students from Y7 - Y13 build confidence in maths, geography, history, literature, and essay writing through patient, structured support. At MPW London, I designed engaging A-Level courses that broke down complex ideas into clear steps, while at Kensington Park School, I helped teens on their GCSE exam skills and research projects. My approach blends encouragement with practical tools, whether guiding ADD learners through focused analysis or helping younger students connect their experiences to the subjects they are learning. Every lesson aims to make ideas feel relatable while building resilience and independent thinking.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc degree in Geography and a teaching qualification with QTS.
