About Me
Hi, I'm Leni Wallace — an 18-year-old university student studying Psychology at the University of Manchester. I have a genuine passion for working with children and bring hands-on experience coaching netball for ages 3–11, supervising art club activities, and supporting special needs children at an adventure park. I'm responsible, adaptable, and always bring a positive, inclusive approach to every role I take on. My background also includes customer-facing roles, showing I understand the importance of great communication and teamwork. I'm available for summer childcare jobs and would love the opportunity to support your family!
My Experience
I have several experiences working with children across various roles. Most recently, I worked as an Assistant Netball Coach at Net-It Sports (Feb–June 2024), where I supported coaching sessions for children aged 3 to 11. I helped create a safe, fun, and engaging environment while assisting with drills, games, and group management.
From September 2023 to March 2024, I volunteered at The Lady Eleanor Holles School, helping as a Netball Coach during school hours and also supervising an Art Club, where I supported children with creative activities and classroom behavior.
In April 2023, I volunteered at Hobbledown Adventure Park and Farm, where I provided one-on-one support to Special Needs children, helping them interact with animals, navigate the play areas, and enjoy their visit in a safe and supportive way.
These experiences have taught me patience, adaptability, clear communication, and how to engage with children across different age groups and needs. I am confident working both independently and as part of a team, and I bring a positive, nurturing attitude to all childcare environments.
My Qualifications
Currently studying BSc Psychology at the University of Manchester – developing strong understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour.

Certified Cookery Course (The Avenue Cookery School) – enhanced time management, independence, and safe food handling.
