My Experience

I have over ten years of experience working with children and families in a variety of roles, including:

- Babysitting for children aged 1 to 13, including evenings, weekends and early mornings.
- Nannying for a 4-year-old, supporting with daily routines, meals, and creative indoor and outdoor play.
- Providing general mother’s help, including light housework, meal prep, and supporting families during busy periods.
- Organising both structured activity days in (crafts, reading, baking, sensory play) and days out to parks, museums, beaches and local attractions.
- Extensive tutoring tutoring experience, helping with homework, reading, writing, and confidence building for children with a range of learning styles and needs.
- Regular pet sitting for families — including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles — with experience in feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing companionship.
- While I don’t drive, I’ve successfully worked as a nanny and babysitter using public transport and walking - including planning local outings and handling pickups independently.

My Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (First Class Honours) - focused on child development, learning needs, and behaviour support.
- Bachelor of Arts in Education, Psychology, and Sociology.
- Safeguarding training completed as part of my previous educational roles.
- Enhanced DBS certificate.
- First Aid knowledge (though my formal certification is not current).

My background in educational psychology gives me a strong understanding of children’s emotional, social, and learning needs — especially helpful when supporting children with SEN or building confidence through play and routine.

My Availability

I’m currently available for nannying and babysitting throughout the summer and am open to both regular and one-off bookings. I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and happy to help with short-notice care as well.

From September, I plan to work as a SEN teaching assistant during the school term, but I’ll still be available for adhoc childcare in the evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My rates reflect my experience, qualifications, and the level of support I provide. I’m happy to discuss exact fees based on the number of children, time of day, and specific needs (e.g. cooking, homework help, short-notice care).

As a guide:
– Babysitting: £13 per hour
– Nannying: £15 per hour

I’m flexible and open to agreeing on a rate that works for both of us, especially for longer bookings or regular arrangements.
