Hi, my name is Selina, I live in South Croydon with my partner and cat!
Throughout my 20s, I worked as a Healthcare Associate in the NHS, and during covid, I volunteered to move to the ICU Covid ward where I was more needed.
After covid, like all Healthcare professionals, I got burnt out, and moved to becoming an Account Executive in a global advertising agency.
I have recently been made redundant from my corporate job and would to be able to use all my childcare knowledge to help families in my local community.
Ihave a level 3 diploma in Society, health and development, which includes, childhood law, development, SEN, as well as adult care.
My Experience
I have worked in 3 Montessori nurseries as I was studying at college and university. I grew up in East London in a extremely big Asian family, my first memory is actually of me bathing and feeding my small twin cousins!
I have 17 nieces and nephews! And as the youngest of 6, I was the allocated babysitter. Child rearing is literally in my blood, I have looked after my niblings from newborn to toddler, to school drop offs and pickups, to sending them off to university!
2 of my nephews are autistic, and 1 has a learning disability.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma in Society, health and development, which includes child development, SEN, as well as adult care.
