About Me
We are a family of four living in Horrabridge, West Devon. My husband and I have two children; our oldest is a girl aged 11 and about to go to secondary school, and our youngest is a boy of 8 years old who also happens to have Down Syndrome. We have a very hairy Labrador and like to go out in our camper-car having adventures!
My Requirements
Our little boy has a learning disability due to Down Syndrome. He is a very loving, active little boy but he also knows his own mind and can be quite stubborn! He loves singing, dancing, making up stories, listening to people read books to him and his favourite thing to watch on television is Horrible Histories. He has significant speech and language delay but does manage to make himself understood. He can use 2 and 3 word sentences and understands a lot more than he is able to say! We are looking for childcare support over the summer holidays between 09:00 and 16:00 as both of us are working in jobs that don't fully align with the school breaks. Dates/times can be very flexible to match availability. Cheers!
