My Experience

Imagine your child starting the day with their hands deep in a tray of soft, scented oats, sorting tiny natural treasures—smooth pebbles, wooden beads, cinnamon sticks. We follow the Montessori approach of “help me do it myself,” so your little one leads the way while I gently guide, stepping in only when needed. They’re not just playing—they’re learning to think, decide, and create with confidence.

Next, we move to art. There’s no rush, no “colour inside the lines.” Just a big sheet of paper, rich creamy paints, and soft brushes that glide across the surface. Sometimes we paint with fingers, sometimes with sticks, sometimes with leaves we picked earlier. It’s messy, yes—but it’s magic. Every stroke tells a story. Every moment builds focus and joy.

After a healthy snack we prepare together (cutting bananas with a child-safe knife or peeling satsumas with tiny fingers), we might set up a mini “café” with real cups, pretend menus, and lots of giggles. Or build a train track that runs through pillow mountains and under blanket bridges. Or make salt dough from scratch and turn it into jungle animals or family keepsakes.

It’s play—but not just any play. It’s intentional, meaningful, and rooted in connection. The kind of day where your child is learning without even realising it, feeling seen, safe, and full of wonder

My Qualifications

I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator), which means I’m qualified to care for children from birth to age 7. During my training, I gained over 750 hours of hands-on experience in real childcare settings, learning how to support learning through play, manage routines, handle tricky moments with calm and kindness, and keep children safe and happy.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

My rate starts at £15 an hour, depending on how many children you have and the type of care you’re looking for—whether it’s during the day, in the evening, or overnight.

This covers more than just keeping an eye on the kids. I offer:
• Focused, personalised care tailored to your child’s needs
• Support with daily routines, play, learning, meals, and emotional well-being
• Light help around the child’s space (like tidying toys or preparing snacks)
• Clear and friendly communication, so you’re always in the loop
