My Summary
About Me
I’m a warm, reliable, and creative individual with a lifelong passion for working with children. I bring calm, structure, and positivity to busy family life, always aiming to create a supportive and happy environment for both children and parents. I understand how valuable quality time is, and I love helping families carve out more of it by keeping the home running smoothly and the children engaged and thriving.
I believe in encouraging children's natural curiosity through play, creativity, and consistency. I’m just as happy helping with school runs and tidying up the playroom as I am reading stories, organising craft afternoons, or making a batch of healthy meals. I hold a full driving licence and am confident handling busy schedules and multiple responsibilities.
My Experience
I’ve worked with children for over 20 years across a variety of settings, including nurseries, schools, and as a music teacher. My very first job was as a nanny, and it was there that I discovered how rewarding it is to be part of a child’s early development. Since then, I’ve supported children of all ages, helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and independence.
As a music teacher, I’ve learned how to capture and hold a child’s attention through rhythm, storytelling, and imaginative play — skills I bring into everyday life. I’m experienced in planning enriching activities such as baking, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures, all tailored to the child’s age and interests.
I’m also happy to provide practical support around the house, including batch cooking, light cleaning, laundry, and general household organisation. I understand how important it is for parents to be able to enjoy time with their children without the stress of constant juggling — and that’s exactly where I can help.
