I have worked in since I was 18 years old!
I was nursery based but haven’t been for 6 years.
I’ve been babysitting here and there on an app for a couple of years now and also have been mainly helping my sister with her 2 children since 2023.
I am looking for a part time role where I can be part of someone’s family, I can love them and their children, and really give support to them where needed.
I love children and have since I was a child myself. There is so much joy in a child and I love bringing the joy out through play, fun and learning!
My Experience
NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education, I completed this as an apprenticeship in a nursery in Kemble (Gooseberry Bush) from 2015-2017.
I then worked in nurseries on and off from 2017-2019. I was based in the baby room, or 2-3s.
Since 2019, I have been an after school club manager where I would go to a specific school in Swindon and set the club up, collect the children from their classrooms and care for them, with lots of fun, until their parents finished work and picked them up.
I have since been babysitting through an app, but mainly have been helping care for my niece and nephew since 2023.
I have had lots of times of unemployment, or working in office jobs, due to health reasons and it’s not possible for me to go back to the nursery life, which is why I’m looking for a lovely family to support.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Education which I received in November 2017.
I also have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
My Availability
I currently don’t work but am looking for a part time role.
For the right family, I would be willing to be flexible.
I only wish to work part time, to a maximum of 15-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
I usually care for my niece on Thursdays, but I can be flexible.
