My Experience

I have over 4 years’ experience working in residential childcare settings, supporting young people aged 7–17 with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

During this time I have:

Provided consistent, nurturing care to children and young people living away from home.

Planned and delivered fun, age-appropriate activities to help build confidence and social skills.

Supported with homework, independent living skills, and personal routines.

Helped young people understand and manage their emotions and behaviours.

Worked closely with families, schools and professionals to ensure the best outcomes.

Completed thorough record-keeping and safeguarding documentation.


I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and am currently studying for a Level 3 Nannying qualification to expand my skills into private family settings.

I’m also fully DBS checked, trained in first aid and safeguarding, and regularly complete additional training to keep my knowledge up to date.
