About Me
Hello!
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with 9 years of experience, based in Northampton and also a proud parent to an 11-year-old. My passion lies in supporting young learners, particularly in reception, year 1 and year 2, where I help build strong foundations for their transition into Key Stage 2.
I have a particular strength in phonics and a nurturing approach that works especially well with children who have special educational needs. I pride myself on being patient, engaging and able to adapt my teaching to suit each child’s unique way of learning.
While my main focus is on KS1, I’m also confident in supporting older primary-aged children to boost their confidence and understanding in key areas. I truly love teaching and would be honoured to support your child on their learning journey.
My Experience
I have 9 years of teaching experience in primary schools, mainly in Key Stage 1. I’ve also completed placements in SEN schools and a behaviour-focused schools, giving me a broad understanding of diverse learning needs. In addition to classroom teaching, I lead music and dance. I enjoy bringing creativity into my lessons to inspire and motivate young learners.
My Qualifications
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
My Availability
With the summer holidays approaching, I’ll have increased flexibility for daytime sessions. During regular school terms, my availability is based around the school day.
