My Experience

Growing up, I was the go-to person for helping my younger siblings with everything from homework to playtime, and I loved every minute of it! Whether it was coming up with creative games or offering a listening ear, I quickly realized how rewarding it is to nurture, guide, and support younger minds.

This natural connection led me to pursue formal studies in childcare, where I gained both the knowledge and practical skills needed to make a positive impact on children’s lives. My coursework and hands-on experience have equipped me with a solid understanding of child development, safety protocols, and creating engaging, educational environments. I believe in creating a space where every child feels encouraged to express themselves, learn, and grow at their own pace.

My Qualifications

I completed a course in Health and Social Care, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding the diverse needs of individuals, including children. Through this, I had the opportunity to complete work experience with children who have learning disabilities, where I gained invaluable insights into how to create supportive, tailored approaches that empower each child to succeed.

Currently, I’m studying Mental Health Nursing, which has further deepened my understanding of mental health, emotional well-being, and the importance of a holistic approach to care. My studies have equipped me with practical skills in communication, empathy, and understanding complex needs, all of which I’m eager to apply in a childcare setting.

I am passionate about helping children of all abilities feel supported, heard, and encouraged. Whether it’s offering a safe environment for emotional growth or developing strategies to enhance learning, I’m excited to continue pursuing my passion for working with children and supporting their mental and emotional well-being.
