About Me

Hello! I’m Laura — a qualified teacher, specialist tutor, and home-educating neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child. I specialise in supporting autistic/ADHD learners, including those who are out of school.

My Experience

I’ve worked in education for over a decade, including classroom teaching, learning support, and private tuition. Since 2019, I have specialised in working with neurodivergent learners, particularly autistic and ADHD children who are learning outside of school due to unmet needs, anxiety, or burnout.

My sessions are always led by the child’s pace and interests — whether that’s creative writing, Minecraft-based projects, or real-world numeracy. I’ve supported learners aged 7–15 through EOTAS packages, home education, and reduced timetables.

I’m a qualified teacher (PGCE, Primary) and have extensive safeguarding and CPD training, including trauma-informed practice and understanding PDA profiles. I’m also a neurodivergent parent, so my work is deeply informed by lived experience as well as professional knowledge.
