Hello! I’m the eldest of nine siblings—five brothers and four sisters—which naturally gave me a head start in caring for children and managing busy households. My Experience
With over 7 years of hands-on experience working in a nursery setting with children aged 0–5, I’ve developed a strong, practical understanding of child development across the early years. I’m confident and capable when it comes to caring for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers—whether it’s supporting sleep routines, bottle feeding, weaning, potty training, or encouraging first words and steps.
For toddlers and preschool-aged children, I focus on promoting independence, encouraging curiosity through play-based learning, and helping prepare them emotionally and practically for school. I create engaging age-appropriate activities that support their development in communication, motor skills, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy.
In addition to early years care, I also have experience helping with school-aged children, offering calm and encouraging support with homework, reading practice, and school projects. I understand the importance of balancing structure with fun, and I’m skilled at keeping children engaged, confident, and supported in their learning.
