My Experience

I’ve been working in childcare since 2016, with experience for children of all ages, from infant to teen teenagers. I also studied children’s development and education in Germany, which provided me with a strong foundation in child psychology learning through play and age-appropriate care.
For the past 3.5 years, I’ve been with a wonderful family, caring for four children who are now 14, 12, 9 and 3 1/2 years old. During this time, I’ve been treated like a family member, which allowed me to build a deep, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. A supported their daily routines, school and activity schedules and created a nurturing environment for each child feels safe, engaged and supported. My responsibility have included everything from diaper changes and toddler development to school pickups, homework help and meal prep. I’ve also travelled frequently with the family, providing consistent care during birth short and extended trips. This tole has just come to an end as the families needs changed. ? Now I’m looking forward to becoming a valued part of a new family where I can bring the same level of care, experience and dedication. ?

My Qualifications

I’ve been working in childcare professionally for nine years and through my studies and children’s development and education in Germany,I’ve gained a strong understanding of how to support kids in their growth emotionally, socially and intellectually. I’m a native German speak and also speak fluent English. I’m highly organised and always strive to create a warm, respectful environment in which children feel safe, seen and encouraged. ?I am especially drawn to Montessori principles and gentle parenting approaches, with clear but simple boundaries -mainly focused on safety and mutual respect. ?While I don’t drive yet, I plan to begin learning towards the end of the year. In the meantime, I’m very comfortable using public transportation and I have no trouble getting to and from school, activities or appointments. ?

My Availability

I am available to start from August but I’m flexible with the exact starting date. I’m looking for full-time work Monday to Friday during the day, I’m flexible with hours (though around 40h/week would be preferred) and I’m open to both live in and live out arrangements. I’m also happy to help with occasional babysitting and weekend work when needed- I just kindly ask to communicate that as soon in advance as possible. ?

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)

My rates are based on experience, responsibilities and the number of children in care. I’m happy to discuss a fair hourly rate or salary rate that reflects the needs of your family. Extra hours outside of the agreed schedule, such as extra babysitting or weekend work would be charged additionally. I’m open to discussing details further and finding an arrangement that works well for both sides.
