About Me
Hello, my name is Lorna and I am a fully qualified primary school teacher. I have two small children of my own and have been loving spending so much time with them on my Maternity Leave! I have such a passion for Early Years and seeing children progress and develop in their own way, and am excited to turn my attention to helping as many children as I can thrive.
Outside of work, I absolutely love being outside, particularly hiking, walking, running and swimming. I also love photography and spending my evenings watching films (if the children are sleeping!!).
My Experience
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher, specialising in Early Years. I worked in a lovely school in Bristol for 6 years teaching Reception, and was also the Early Years Lead there. I have 2 young children of my own and have recently moved to Mumbles in Swansea.
I am keen to meet with you to discuss your child’s needs prior to working with you. As a teacher myself, I can work on homework, targets or specific needs (such as communication, regulation, behaviour etc), or simply to enjoy the world around us!
My Qualifications
- PGCE Primary (5-11yrs)
- CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)
- BSc (hons) Psychology
My Availability
I am available most days from 3:30-6pm - perfect for after school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
Bespoke tutoring sessions: £30 per hour or £50 for after school session (2.5 hours)
General nannying/babysitting £20ph
