About Me
With over 20 years experience, I am able to adapt to different learning styles and paces to meet children's needs. I am currently a private tutor and have prepared pupils for a range of exams. I am dynamic, creative and enjoy seeing my pupil's confidence grow.
I place emphasis on grammar rules and ensuring that SPAG is correct as I believe that literacy is the basis of progress in all subjects.
My Experience
My experience is extensive. I have taught 4-81 year olds everything from learning to read to the IB, with 13+, GCSE/IGCSE and EAL/ESOL experience.
I have taught in both independent, international and state schools and ran a number of children's clubs. I am well-travelled and speak Spanish and French.
My Qualifications
Safeguarding in Education, Cambridge/RSA CELTA, Raising attainment in Spelling, BA Hons Social Science, MA Applied Market & Social Research, First Aid Certificate, PGCE (middle Years) English, QTS.
My Availability
I am available during the day and after school and am happy to do an evening session when needed.
