About Me

Hello, I’m Tasha!

Based in Yarnton, Oxford, I’m in my early 30’s, living with my partner and our cat.

For the last 7 years I have worked in middle management within financial services, alongside a longstanding commitment to childcare, both professionally via sitters and within my own family.

I’ve always maintained a strong nurturing instinct, which has only grown through caring for my friends children, nieces and nephews, with ages ranging from babies to young adults.

Becoming an auntie at just 12 years old laid the foundation for a natural maternal role in my life. My 2 year old nephew, who I have supported since birth and now co-guardian with my sister, is a daily reminder of the importance of guidance and nurturing. His development and wellbeing have deeply inspired my decision to pursue a more hands on, meaningful career in childcare.

Before transitioning into financial services, I followed a dedicated path in child development, starting within my school GCSE’s, following with obtaining a Level 2 qualification in Childcare Education and Development. My experience includes a variety of professional settings such as:

• Nursery care for children aged 0–5
• Crèche supervision for ages 0–16
• Private nannying for families with children aged 0–16
• Area Manager overseeing 5 Out of School Club sites and 40+ staff, achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating

I have also provided overnight childcare, supported families at hotels and events. Additionally, I have planned children’s parties, bringing creativity and enthusiasm into every role. I’m confident in scheduling, managing errands, and offering general PA support where needed.

Outside of childcare, I’m creative and outdoorsy, with interests in sports and adventure. I carry practical skills in cooking (across a range of cuisines), basic DIY (including electrical and woodwork tasks), and I enjoy being able to teach children life skills such as baking, fire safety, and personal development in a safe, structured way.

I bring a blend of professional expertise and personal experience to my work, and I strive to be a trusted extension of the family, someone who leaves a meaningful impact.

Stepping away from financial services has given me the space to refocus, study part-time, and pursue a fulfilling career in childcare. My long-term vision is to launch my own Ofsted registered childcare business, complete with advanced qualifications and accreditations.

I’m currently flexible with hours and understand that every families needs are unique. I would love the opportunity to connect and explore how I can support you.
