My Experience

I’ve had a mix of experience working with children through tutoring, a teaching internship, and informal childcare. I’ve planned and led lessons for younger students, helped kids with their schoolwork, and supported their learning in fun, engaging ways. I’ve also looked after younger relatives and family friends’ children, helping with everything from playtime and meals to bedtime routines.

These experiences have helped me become calm, patient, and good at adapting to different needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, positive space where they feel comfortable and happy.

My Qualifications

I'm currently a pharmacy student at Newcastle University, where I was awarded First Class Honours in my first year. This reflects not only my strong academic ability but also my dedication, focus, and attention to detail – qualities I bring into everything I do, including babysitting.

Before university, I achieved A*A*A in A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, and earned eight grade 9s at GCSE in subjects including Maths, English, and all three sciences. Studying subjects like Psychology has given me a deeper understanding of child development and behaviour, which really helps when caring for children of different ages.

My academic background means I’m confident helping with homework, school projects, and learning support, especially in science and maths. I also take pride in being reliable, well-organized, and calm under pressure – all important skills when looking after little ones!

My Availability

The chart given indicates my availability during summer holidays (June- mid-September) and other holiday periods throughout the academic year. This is because I am a university student so, I won't be available during term-time. Thank you

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I would be happy with the national minimum wage for a 19-year-old - £10 per hour.
